Issue with Sony GV-200 digital 8 deck

Hey everyone, have a little issue I need help with...

long story short...I have several customers that want to convert digital 8 tapes to DVD.  Until I come up with a better system, I bought a GV-200 deck and hooked it up to Xpress Pro via iLink.  I have full deck control with capture tool and great video, but the audio isn't coming through...

I tried going composite through Mojo but then the digitize stops every time there is a break in the footage...tedious and don't have time to babysit...

Anyone have any ideas as to why I can't get audio when hooked up to firewire??

    Thanks!!

    TGS

Re: Issue with Sony GV-200 digital 8 deck

Check your audio sample rates. Most Sony Digital-8 camcorders default to 32k for recording. If your project is 44 or 48 you may have a problem.

System Specs: Dell M90, 4GB Ram (3GB Avid Enabled), nVidia FX 1500 w/ driver 8.4.2.9, MC 2.8, QT 7.2, External WD 750 GB eSata Drive [view my complete system specs]
