    capturing-help!

    everything seams to b fine, but after i press the rec button, the following message apears:

    exception: DIO producer-digital I/O device malefunction, DIOerr: DMDformat invalid sample size-client value:16, acceptble value: 12.

    please help

    Please provide complete system specs.  It is helpful if you add them to your profile.  We'll also need to know all the details on your project, e.g., type, source material, etc.

    I am trying to capyure from a Sony camera via firewire. I am trying to avoid purchasing a Mojo. I capture from cameras at work if it is a non-P2 camera with no issues via the Mojo. I sould be able to capture directly into express pro HD I would think. I am capturing non-HD footage shot at news scenes with a maximum of 12 minutes shot. I get the above error can you help Please.

    Additional info:

    I am using a Dell XPS 400 Intel R Pentium R D CPU 2.80 ghz 2.79ghz. 2.0 GB Ram

    Got to your audio settings and change the sample bit rate downard from 48 to 32 (or whatever that lower setting it -- can't remember and my system isn't up and running to confirm)

    It should work.
