Nice. Great tool. I was wondering if there is any way to make the "Name in Bin" column display the names without having to click on each specific file. Or maybe there could be a way to highlight/select a bunch or all files and then have the "Name in Bin" column update. It seems that now you have to click on each and every file to get them to show up in the "Name in Bin" column. Works greeeeat otherwise.
Great job. This should be in 6.0!!!

scanning all files automaticaly is !VERY! slow process!! especially if you have more than 10000 files and they are stored on UNITY or LANSHARE server.
i'll try to speed up/optimize it in future.
but in current build you can highlight/select a bunch or all files in filelist windowand then press F2 button.

Updated.
*Speeded up file scanning*Added option to scan any media folder (with *.omf *.aif and *.wav files) without using databases(*.pmr) (the way like Media mover does)
build 20 mar 2006
added ability to scan avid bins.
now you can diagnose your bin and get all referenced media files and projects.
or you can drag mediafiles and sequences into your bin(with AVID), analyse it, and copy/move all your referenced mediafiles anywhere

theoretically yes, but this way MDV was not tested.............. so, if you do some tests, it would be great!
another major update!
------ 23 mar 2006 ---------
feature added!now you can right click in project list window and select "Store..."(or select some files in file list and press F4)then select target folder..... then select "Store relative Paths" and "Add drive letter to relative path"
or you can select an option "store MXF anf OMF separately" -the subfolders named "OMFI mediafiles" and "AVID mediafiles" will be created for you. and all the media will be copied there.
also you can select an option to move your media instead of copy.
NOTE: there is no difference between "Store relative Paths" and "store MXF anf OMF separately" on AVID stations with local storage, but on unity and lanshare with "Store relative Paths" checked all user workspaces will be stored correctly.

p.s. If you already downloaded this tool, please do it again. There was a serious bug..... (MDV crashes sometimes)
