There have been a number of debates on the MC-PC Forum over the past few months on how to get SD and HD to co-exist on the same timeline - with good quality.

This second of the series explains how I worked with HDV and SD on Avid's Open Timeline in creating a sequence ready for recording back to tape.

Although the process is quite simple once you understand it, it is easy to forget basic things like using the correct Project format at the correct time.

I am sorry if the whole thing gets a bit mixed up as I begin to confuse myself.................
