the wayyou have your time line set up you arent monitoring V2, which is where your PIP are. click on the box on the right of V2 and you will see your PIP.
UdSSR: it is just to illustrate that there only one column of V1,A1 and A2 instead of V1 V1 A1 A1 A2 A2

All that means is that a source clip is not loaded in the source monitor.
Check and make sure you monitor icon is on the highest video layer.

That's it! Now I can see those PIPs. Also I have fixed the timeline (just accidentally) by rightclicking on V1 and choose Match Frame Track and two columns are back! Thank you guys!

To give you a visual explanation of what Larry said about the source monitor, maybe this will help.

The match frame function will load any standard clip that you're parked on in the timeline into the source monitor and will automatically place a mark in on the source at that exact point. However, as you've discovered, match framing will not work with pre-computes. That's where my CTRL + ALT +c workaround comes in.
Since it seems you are relatively new to Media Composer, here are links to two threads of free tutorials created by one of our other moderators, Douglas Bruce. I think you'll find them well worth the time.
