Adding a new clip to an existing "group clip"(im noob!)

    Hello everyone,

I am a cinema student in Paris, France, and I use Avid MC since... 10 hours, straight. Its wonderfull.

I am trying to edit a multicam from a music show.

The probleme is, a friend of mine already created a group clip, I edited about 1h00 of the concert, but now I need to add a clip to the group, without re-creating the whole group and, of course, loosing my work. And I really dont know how to add a clip to an existing group clip.

If you can help me with an answer, I'd love that.

    Thanks again for reading this.

    Have a great day.

    Victor, from Paris.

PS: sorry if the question was allready asked, i just couldnt find it.

I would recommend you to first read the multicam section in the omline manual, lots to read and well described I think.

If something is not well described in that manual, just ask.

as far as I know, thats not possible.

and there is another issue with these group edits: if you plan to export the audio to a postpro-prog like protools or nuendo, you might run in problems, because not all of thess audio tracks in the group will be in the exported file.

better make experiments with the full workflow before you decide to edit in groups...
