    QuickTime Crashes on HD files

    I can't seem to open QckTime files that are encoded in DNxHD145.  Everytiem I open a file, it hangs then crashes.

     

    Running:

    HP8400

    QT.7.5.5

    MC 3.5 on DXN

    Either the settings are off, or media used might be corrupt.

    Another point Rob brought up....

    Maybe it is an incorrect version of the codec for the version of QT you have.    That might be it too.

    Run quicktime player without  file in edit/preferences/quicktimepreferences select advanced tab in video change to safe mode(GDI only)
