Hi, we have MC v2.6.4 ( with MOJO ) and LANSHARE EX 4.0 right now. I'm thinking to put this kind of setup for a new SONY EX with a 35Mb/s MXF file.  Is this possible? I tried looking through the Knowledgebase to check on supporting documents but unable to find one. Can you help me out here guys?

The XDCAM EX codec was first added in MC 2.8.3, you will need that version at least to play XDCAM EX 35Mb.

Thank you so much for the reply BobRusso. So i'll have to consider upgrading the MC then ... However how about with the LANSHARE? When do you think it started supporting XDCAM EX? Have you read any documentation on this? I'm still searching on the Knowledgebase hoping that i can find any info. Again BobRusso, thanks alot.

XDCAM EX is only 35Mb at most. There shouldn't be an issue using it with a LanShare.

I recommend upgrading the Media Composer to 3.5 with native support for the XDCAM EX. This will require the LanShare to be upgraded to 4.1.6. Unity ISIS and MediaNetwork Compatibility Matrix
