    Experienced users of MC probably never give a second thought to such basic concepts.
    However Newcomers to Non Linear Editing in general  and Migrants to MC in particular can have difficulty in understanding even simple procedures until they have understood

    these very basic concepts.
    Thus the Title - Before Basics.
    This tutorial deals mainly with the functions of the Track Selector Buttons.
