Integrating audio with video of different frame-rates

    Hi,

I'm starting a project in which some footage will be shot 1080P/24 and some 1080i/59.94. We will then digitize & edit offline SD 30i.  For the online we will then up-rez to and the show will broadcast in 1080i/59.94.

We will be bringing the audio in seperately and the AE will sync it to our video.

What frame rate should the sound mixer record at?

What concerns and recommendations would you have about this workflow?

This feels like a school math quiz...

Can you give me a link, I don't see it on the forums list here. And it's more of a general question no?

Also, I think the answer to my question is record audio at 29.97 because that's the frame rate that we'll sync the clips. Just wondering if there will be any surprises along the way if others have worked in a similar scenario.
