Not everyone is interested in the Multicam mode of MC, and those who are can find things a little difficult.I was quite familiar with Avid Liquid's Multicam mode...... but when I began to test MC I found that the implemenation was quiote different.
There is an excellent chapter on the Multi Camera Mode in Avid Advanced Guide for MediaComposer and Symphony. It can be downloaded, as a pdf file, from HERE.(The tutorial mentions another version of the Guide. Look for the most recent)
For us newcomers reading Advanced Guides before we know the basics can be frustrating.
My tutorial here doesn't even mention timecodes or multigroups or sound TC's or source-orientated controls.......................................
It should be used as a prelude to getting down to reading the manual.
I expect the simplicity of my tutorial will cause a deluge of comments and suggestions.I welcome them... That's one of the purposes of these tutorials - to stimulate and provoke reactions that will benefit us all.Good luck!

I have a personal request, if at all possible...
I am already trying for hours to see your tutorial of multi cam editing....but the internet here in Mali (West-Afrika)is so slow, that I only manage to get to a 38% of the total clip.
Could you make a downloadable version of this one to help me out here? Then I can use my download manager to get it in more easy ...
Tell me what is possible, thanks!
Multi Camera Mode -1. Just a glance - Download as a Flash Video file (FLV)
