Default and site setings not working correctly

Hi I was setting my timeline  track colours and after a while decided to revert back to the default setup.

I clicked on the Fast menu (doughnut) bottom left of the timeline and selected the top choice titled "Default Setup" my Timeline colours then reverted to Video Tracks being coloured light brown whilst the Audio Tracks a Blue/Grey I tried resetting the colours and then having read the help file decided to set the timeline colours then invoke the "Site Settings" from the "Special Menu", convinced this would do the trick was completely surprised when having clicked the Fast Menu Default Settings found that once again the colours had reset back to Light Brown and Blue Grey. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong and why is the Default Setup not storing my choices and not working correctly.

    Regards

    Fred

    Fred:

You need to save your customized timeline using the timeline view window on the timeline toolbar, just to the right of the segment editing buttons. Click on the view window and do a "save as". Make as many different timeline views as you desire, and save them there, one at a time for instant call back.

Hi Larry, thanks for the help as you might realise I have only just upgraded to M. C. so things are new to me.

    Once again thank you.

Another thing to keep in mind - when you use workspaces or toolsets, you can link a specific timeline view to a specific workspace or toolset using the "link to current..." dialog.
