No, sorry for the confusion. My home edit suite is an Xpress Pro HD w/Mojo. I edit on an Adrenaline at work (reasoning behind the sig pic). As far as the TV mounted on the wall over my head? That is the spot my wife and I chose when we put the thing up. We figured it would be perfect for either clients sitting back on the couch to watch or when the family just needs another room to watch TV in. A dual functioning TV sitting on a desk just wouldn't work. Plus if the next owners want to convert it back to a formal dining room, we figured if we hung it lower (right over the LCD's) they'd be walking right into it. At this position, they'll just have to duck a bit. Plus we took atvantage of the 9ft ceilings and tried to put it up as high as possible for that reason.
Now at my fullitme job, the NTSC monitor is pretty much in the same position so I guess I'm just used to it. I never get neck aches or dizzy spells although I'm sure I won't miss it when the room gets redesigned. It used to be a graphics suite and I believe 3 artists shared that monitor and just spun on a lazy susan type swivel when they needed it. At home, I can live with it for now but once I get functional desk with more tabletop space, I will buy a monitor for myself that will sit on the desk.
The plants? Yuck! and fake by the way. My wife put those up to hide big a#% bolts embedded in the wall. We can't just remove the bolts because we'll have exposed holes where the wallpaper once was. That'll all go away when we paint. Also, I do want some hardy deciduous plants in the corners or at the end of the desk but I'm going to wait till the painting is done.
FAKE PLANTS?!?! I'm sorry to read that.
I am in midst of a couple painting projects, they're always fun.
Good luck.

Nice-looking suite, however, the whole concept of having a HEAVY video monitor on top of a VCR makes me squirm. Why not place the deck on TOP of the monitor?
Take care.
I think my memory sucks, but I forget.

The "editor" can't be the only beast of burden in the editing room.
Try again........

Cramped but usable and not "picked up" at all! :)
DEAR MODERATOR, How do I delete this extra posting? Or can you do it for me?
Thanks!
