Symphony suite I designed around 2000. Note the reverse radius of console. Plenty of client space and it reduces the urge of clients to crowd the editor. Also dual screens are duplicated on the client desk.

This is my hardware set-up, let me know what you think of the working area. I work out of my apartment and space is very tight. I have been scrimping to get the right equipment, next well be bigger digs! I find the lower monitor much easier on my eyes, especially when looking through bins. Because the monitor is 22" I can leave the audio meter, clipboard monitor bins and effects windows open. I arrange the windows just as I would paper on a desk surface.
This is how I keep my workspace & source/record monitors. I really have noticed less eye strain.
