Anyone else having a problem where the custom palette you  create can never remember its size & shape?..but even worse eventually expands to the point where clicking on it opens a custom blank palette so big it spans both screens? I had this issue since 3.0 and it doesn't seem to go away..so I'm curious if I'm alone (as I usually am with weird things like this)

"Custom Palette"?  Can you explain?  Are you talking about Toolsets? Workspaces? please use Avid terminology to help us better understand.

My apologies..the fast menu you can customize with your favourite icons.

Oh, sorry for misunderstanding.  Yes, I've noticed that too, but I don't use the Fast Menu all that often.  I tend to map things to the keyboard or somewhere right on the Timeline for easy access.

I've gotten into that habit too..because it doesn't work that well. But every once in a while I don't click on the right thing, hit a fast menu button instead and BOOM - suddenly my screen fills witha giant blank palette and it's stuct o the end of my mouse. Kinda annoying. Should have been fixed by now.
