    Easy Attic Recovery

Would anybody else like to see an option on the File Menu ... "Recover Bin From Attic"?  It would take you directly to the specific Project area in the Attic, and from there, you could search for the copy you want.  It would bring it into your Project Window, inside a folder named, "Recovered Attic Bins", and add the .avb extension on-the-fly.  This was actually requested by a client renting systems from us ...

I'll be glad to second that one, Randall. That would be a huge time saver over the current cumbersome navigating.

And I'll third that one - you can sometimes screw more stuff up while trying to restore from the attic.

I'd suggest a function called "panic button" which automatically holds all attic contents and then lets you browse through the bin versions.

    Re: Easy Attic Recovery

I Think that would be a great feature.  I have only had to do it twice in 7 years thankfully, but both times I had to refresh my memory by digging through the forums and the manual on how to do it, and there is quite a bit of navigating.

I love how you called it, "panic button", but I think clients would be alarmed when you click on that!!! :-)

I think it would be nicer if it will be called "editor in control button" or something more positive just for the sake of the clients. :-)
