    Disable Timeline Effect Icons?

    Is there a way to turn off the effect icons that appear in the timeline in Avid DV HD Pro?  This is a feature I remember from my old days on the Media Composer... but I cannot find it in Avid DV (it used to be under the timeline quick menu I believe).

    The time it takes to refresh a timeline with all the icons is beginning to bug me...

    Thanks for any help.

     Not in front of my Avid right now, but carefully check the timeline fast (hamburger) menu. In 2.7.7 there is an option to turn off the effects icons.

    Hi all,

    This thread is 2 years old.  If the OP hasn't found a way to turn off the effect icons by now, they probably bailed for FCP.  Big Smile
