unable to import new titles or description from XDCAM browser to MC 3.0

I have over 600 clips that have been logged (name and description changed) by an assistant in the XDCAM clip browser. However, when I imported them into the avid, the orriginal name was restored and the "comments" column doesn´t have anything.

Is the option to change the name in browser not for real? Can this be imported into Avid or do I have to manually change the names in Avid once I import them?

    Thanks!

When the the XDCAM EX MP4 files are rewrapped by the Clip Browser software very little information is maintained. I think the only field that's maintained is title 2. This is a limitation of the XDCAM EX Clip Browser software as Avid is on the receiving end of these files.

Media Composer 3.5 with AMA adds support for the native XDCAM EX card/folder structure and will display Title 1, Title 2, Creator and Description along with a host of other metadata recorded by the camera.
