    m2t File Import Problem

    Hello,

    I'm importing a batch of m2t files I captured using Firestore & Sony Z1.

99% went fine, but otheres, i get an error:

"Exception: AudioElementaryStreamParserRep::Finish....nothing int he free queue..."

    Any ideas about this?

What version of the Media Composer are you using?

The only frame rate that currently supported is 1080i/59.94. Could these have been recorded at a different frame rate?

Can MPEG Streamclip open the files? You might be able to rewrap or transcode the files so they import.

    Re: m2t File Import Problem

I used the same frame rate/format as the others that imported fine.

Yes. I had to export it to QT using MPEG Streamclip but I also had to buy the $20 plug-in.

Any ideas about that error? could it be a timecode glitch/skip?

    It's an MC 3.1.1

If its the same frame rate and format, I have no idea what the issue could be. Could the clips be corrupt?

As far as the plug-in; are you talking about the MPEG 2 playback option for OS X?

    Re: m2t File Import Problem

    That is correct.

so i had to export the m2t files to huge QT files before i can import it to Avid.

I just realized I have a tape backup that I could've simply captured! Geeked

    Oh well....digital/memory hype!

(I shot HDV with a Z1 and FirestorePro)
