    Firewire (1394) without Mojo

I am running Avid Express Pro 5.7.5 on a PC with no Mojo. I am using the Panasonic HVX p2 camera. I can pull the files from the p2 cards with no problem. I am now working on a project where the media is on tape. I have tried to capture the tape media through firewire with no luck. What should my deck configuration be? Am I doing something wrong? Is this even possible without a mojo on this version of Avid?

channel should be OHCI (or whatever - not in front of Avid) and then specify the camera.

    Sergio:

Go into your user settings and first, make sure you are displaying "all settings" (check the hamburger fast menu). Then go to deck configuration. Under channel, you should have "Firewire on OHCI" and that should be linked to a machine template for the Panasonic HVX p2, if you can find it on the list of machine templates. If not, link the channel to "Generic DV NTSC Device". This is the only channel to machine association you should see in the configuration window.
