Why don't you just do all this audio work in Avid?

MacPro 3.33Ghz 12 Core (Westmere, MacPro 5,1), 48Gb RAM, nVidia GeForce GTX 680, Intensity Pro (Desktop Video 10.4.3), OS X 10.13.6, MC 2018.12 [view my complete system specs]

I used Sonic Fire which is in fact bundled with Avid Media Composer. Also, you have more control over the audio in Sonic Fire than you do in Avid. Sometimes I need to nudge audio files by miniscule amounts - obviously in Avid I can only do this by frames so if I am looking for a more accurate audio placement then I use a separate audio editor.

    Hope this answers your question!
