First, I highly recommend you hire an Avid Unity ACSR or other qualified service technician to assist you. Or, if you don't have Avid Support, you can buy a Per-Incident Support Case for $500.
Next, to explain where things are on Unity 5. The HDD is divided into 3 partitions. The first has no drive letter and points to a folder named, "AVIDONLY". The second two are C: and D:. The MetaData resides on that first partition.
Prior to running the Avid Product Recovery, did you manually try to reformat or repartition the HDD? If you repartitioned it, or reformatted that 1st partition, then your MetaDatra is probably lost.
If you look at the partitions, in Disk Management, you should see the first partition, with no drive letter, and named "AVIDONLY". If not, it is possible to get Windows to point to that folder again, but I'd suggest you get professional assistance with that.
Just curious though, what caused you to run the Product Recovery?

Hmmmm .... a day and a half and no response from the OP? Either it wasn't really a "big problem", or he fell on his sword after realizing what he'd done :)
I think he's facing the aftereffect of what he had done.. I had a chance to use the product recovery of Unity for few times when I encountered upgrade problem but I only re-imaged C partition. In his case I'm not sure why he needed to recover the D partition.

am sorry !
but not i am who make the recovery the stupid IT person in the company who make this !!!
OK. So, how's it going?
Oh, yeah, and as a general rule, you never EVER want to let the IT guys work on your Avid gear.
Our internal DOD IT department is quite content to leave our Avid Network alone, as they fully understand that they don't at all understand Avid and it's very specific needs. We have our own engineers who maintain our Avid LAN completely isolated from the rest of the in house DOD computer network.
I suggest that you need an on staff specialist or at least one on call, as Randall recommended. Perhaps that person can help you convince your IT people not to meddle in things they don't understand.

same problem :s!!
i try to call the avid support in my country ... i hear about tool name pmr tool do u know what it is ?
PMRtool.exe is a utility that will trash all the visible media database PMR files. It facilitates rebuilding the media databases. However, I'm not sure that's your problem.
If you open "Server Log Viewer", what dioes it say? Has a Drive set been found? Did a MetaSet load? Did the mount complete? In Admin Tool, do you see anything? Workspaces, Users, etc?
yes the amount is complete and the i can see the drivers in the server log viewer ... but when i try to open the admin tools there is a msg box "cannot connect to the file manager"
Does "cannot connect to the file manager" happen on the Unity Client? or from the Server it self?
i have seen this problem in person before, and still digging into my memory banks on how i fixed it.
Try Opening Admin tool from Client(Fiber) and Server.

If im not mistaken, your Unity Client can mount Unity Drives, and your problem is that the Admin tool from the Client Side can't connect "Connect connect to the File Manager".
can you confirm this?
yea i confirm do u how to fix that?
Optimize all the partition from the Administration tool (server side). Then after that... run ASM (just run READ TEST) .. then Reboot the Server...
how i can do that ?? i cant access the admin tool >> how i can access it from the server side and what the ASM is?
