Importing JVC HDV video files into MC has always been problemmatic for me. I always get the following message: Exception: DIOTSPParser::Parse-BufferSize(280576) is invalid File: \Devices\MPEGParser\src\DIOTSParser.cpp Line:483
As a workaround I've used Cineform to transcode my native m2t files to avi before importing, as I've reported on this forum.
As an alternate workaround which keeps the m2t format, I've been able to import my native m2t files into ProCoder and, using Procoder, export back to m2t. The process happens extremely quickly as no transcoding is taking place. The resultant ProCoder m2t file will then import into Avid without problem.

Woah that sounds good. What framerate are you using?
Where do your m2t files come from? Do you use a HDD recorder or are you capturing from tape to an external app?
Does your audio stay in sync once you've imported into Avid? That's the key problem I keep hitting...

1-24fps
2-m2t files come from HDD recorder, firestore FS4-HD
3-audio seems to be in sync. Only did a short test file and all looked well.
cuervo-
have you found anyway to pull working 24p m2ts w/ pulldown? Reason being i'd like to be able to have footage w/ the 24p look, usable in 30i project (to mix w/ SD 24p footage previously shot for clients).

Procoder will produce 24fps with pulldown m2ts files.
What's your workflow? I just tried the procoder. When I went to tanscode from the JVC files - actually from Liquid - the files were in three parts (video and two audio) Transcoding a half hour clip left the audio clips one second longer (?) (or shorter, I forget).
