What is considered a low end CPU? Or what are the specs for machines exhibiting slowness?

When they look at you kind of blankly and say "duhhhhhhhhh."

We have an 8600 with 16G of RAM which was badly affected. Perhaps focusing on the "low end" quality of the release would be more productive than inferring it is related to cpu's.
I was able to move to 3.1.1 Symphony running with Nitris DX on an HP XW8600 and so far it seems to be stable. I will admit it's been a little slow for us so I haven't pushed it too hard yet. One note if using a Wacom Intuos 3 Tablet watch which driver you use. I was running the latest released driver and after have some playback issues I discovered that it was actually related to the tablet giving me the trouble, removed the driver and installed an earlier version and my playback issues went immediately away.
Running 3.1.1 on XW8400 2xquad for a week and a half now. Stable. However, two issues:
1. Digital cut from my current PAL 24p project stalls when I select to add black at tail. A bunch of error messages ("glue") appear in the console, but not in the interface itself.
2. Ran into an audio underrun today, but no error message in the interface, only in the console.
Hope someone reads this and takes it to the right folks.
I have exactly the same problem. Audio underrun error in the console during performing Digital Cut, but palyback in timeline is OK.
Any idea?
System config: XW8600, MC with Nitris DX hw, MediaNet 5.1.1, Vista 64bit.

Did you have the "Add Black At Tail" option selected? I had better luck when I did not select that.
