I've searched through the forums but can't find an answer to this.

I've got media which has been shot using a progressive camera, the project is a 1080p sequence, I've applied to many clips timewarp, choosing both progressive input and output however when I export an targa sequence the frames look interlaced. 

Can anyone help? 

I would check the export profile details and see if there's a "deinterlace" choice somewhere.

I've checked, the parameters in export no options for de-interlace - Field order is set to single field, which I'm assuming is right for progressive. 

It's a PAL project.

Just for grins and giggles, try a timewarp with interlaced in and progressive out. Just a hunch, not sure.

I did that an hour ago :( I think I may have cracked it however :) I'll let you know!

GOT IT! I was working in a 1080p project using 25i so that I could monitor via my mojo SDI - I needed to set the project to 1080p (under "Format" tab for it to process the timewarp correctly).

I can also set it to 25p for me to monitor while setting timing on the client monitor however when working under 25p rather than 1080p it creates a slightly smaller file size on export 4.2Mb vs. 5.4Mb when using 1080p mode.

I thought that the setting the format tab only changed monitoring and sequence not rendering of effects - anyone know what parameters the format tab does change - does this mean to render effects out to their highest quality I need to switch off my client monitoring every time to render - seems odd! What am I missing here!

The format tab should be set to HD when rendering HD effects.  When you're in SD you'll get SD quality renders which will be smaller and faster and the look just swell in SD.  Those effects will need to be re-rendered for HD.  You can leave your client monitor on (not that it will see anything).

No, that would give you half vertical resolution.
