I'm a Mac Mod so Windows is sort of mysery for me;

Running XP SP3

NVidia 8600M GT with 256 ram

4 GB system ram

Virtual Memory set to 2700

It won't start. Windows says an unexpected error...hasn't started yet.

Any ideas

How does it run on the Mc OSX side?

 Let's send this over to the PC side to get some answers there. Hoever Chris, at what point in the launch process do you get this error? What version of MC? What audio and what video card?

It runs fine on the Mac side...testing this setup for a producer who likes Windoze and needs Mac.

I have the NVidia 8600M GT, RealTek audio. Standard MacBook PRo setup...running Windows XP, SP3. Windows drive partition is formatted to NTFS

MC 3.0.5

I get the warning during the ACPL effects if that is the issue.

I set the Virtual Memory with the 3GB program. Whne it boots it gives me the option of that setup to boot to...which I do.

I noticed you said SP3.  Is that approved?  I know it causes issues on other apps.  Just curious.

 EDIT:  Just looked and saw that SP3 is approved.  Sorry.
