    NVIDIA driver update for NVIDIA Quadro FX 1400

    I went to have a look at how many updates are accumulating on Windows Update and saw that my card has an update available.  The date of the update is 10/2/2008.

    Does anyone know if this has been blessed by Avid?

     keep it simple and save ... only use the driver Avid supplies with its software.

    Ditto, fwiw... that 169 was the recommended driver for a very long time... I would only update the driver as you update the software, and then stick with the one recommended in the readme for your particular version.

    Hello,

    Is there anyone who knows the best computer and graphic card settings for dell 670, Nvidia quadro fx1400. I heard a rumor of turning hyperthreading off. The driver version is 6.14.11.6947. I experience frequently a freezing popup or monitor window too.
