Hello,
here's a quick question. I'm trying to conform a project in the Nitris that was cut at 23.976p NTSC and is being finished as HD 1080p 23.976.
I've made a new sequence that is HD1080p 23.976, and tried to decompose the shots and they all come out as 'SD 23.976p NTSC'. I've tried to transcode the clips to HD, and I end up with am SD clip that is a DNxHS resoltuion (which is weird in intself)
When I go to capture, I get an error that says This clip cannot be batch captured because you are in a 1080p/23.976 project and this is not a 1080p/23.976 clip. I'm just confused because if I've got shots in another project that is HD 59.94, and I've loaded them into a project as SD 29.97 for the offline, everything will pop back into place easily.
anyone know what key piece I'm missing? thanks - Mike
In my test, I have 3 SD clips. I flip to HD 1080p 23.976 and cut the clips on to a new sequence. When I decompose that sequence, I still have clips that are listed as SD 23.976p NTSC in the format colum.
A - HA !!
I just took the SD sequence, modified to HD and the decmop clips turned out to be HD. Thanks for the tip. The modify format did the trick.
