I have just installed a new hard drive and loaded MC 3 again. I am having problems moving the edit record and timeline boxes from the left hand screen to the right hand screen and also creating a workspace to save the settings.
I have tried HOME but the boxes dissappear so only the folders with the media in are displayed
I can only create a workspace by opening a new user but everytime I move the edit source or timeline boxes to the right hand screen it cancelles the current workspace so no workspace shows up in the settings. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to have the file folders on the left hand monitor and the edit source and timeline on the right hand monitor so they stay set that way even when I shut down and re open the project.
On my old system they were working fine on the same platform drivers etc but just different hard drive as I needed a bigger on for the OS and have re installed MC3 on the new drive. Hopefully its just a setting problem can anyone let me know

I sounds like you don't have the left hand monitor designated as the primary monitor as it should be. Make this settings change both in display properties settings and the NVIDIA card settings.

This might be OT for this subject and you have already changed bootdisc but for other users needing to change bootdisc, there is a handy, not so expensive little app named acronis trueimage, next time you want to change disc and have a very well working editing sys that you absolutely don´t want to change settings for, just put in your new bigger disc into a usb connector unit or similar, copy the old bootdisc to it and switch disc ,fast, safe and easy.
