Hi I have recently upgraded to 3.0 and I have a bin that was never origionally part of any project. I used it to store all my music for productions and now I cannot get Media Composer to open it. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Think for yourself... but take heed of those you have thought before you.
"... a bin that was never origionally part of any project ..."
First, it "had" to be part of a Project, as that is the only way to create a Bin. The Project may have been called "Music" or "Commen Elements" ... but I digress ...
How are you accessing the Bin? File >Open Bin? ... or did you copy it into an existing Project folder? Are you getting an error?
"Saving the world, one Avid at a time"
I am going to rightclick->open bin and I get an error that says that cannot open file... "does not contain a valid avid domain header."
Have you tried just Double-Clicking on the Bin? Meanwhile, it's possible the Bin is corrupt. If so, and if you have no other copies, you have no options.
Is there a chance that You have a working copy of the bin in the attic folder?
