You need to tell us a little more about your system. Please list your hardware specs (Including what drives you are using) and your OS and software versions. Also tell us what project type and/or resolution you are using.

media composer adrenaline hd pc on raid...stand alone...without the hd board...the projects are on ntsc30i...i really want it to be fixed and i want to know whats causing it...i have talk with a fellow avid user and he told me to try expert rendering but the same problem still exist...
What version of Avid and is this XP? What CPU? How is the raid connected?
At first this sounds like an underpowered CPU but I think that maybe something else is happening here.
Duplicate your sequence, mark an in and an out around that segment of your timeline and lift it out. Will the sequence play now? If so, then chances are the media in that segment is corrupt. Usually this is a corrupted effecs render. If this is the case and you are on MC 3.x, yo ucould select the unreder otpion around that segment and rerender. If that doesn't do it, yo umay need to narrow down the segment causing the crash, delete the media and recapure it.
However, that's just a guess based on little info about your hardware and software.
the version is the second version of the media composer adrenaline it was the media composer adrenaline hd software...running on a hp xw8200 dual xeon 2gb ram with a 4 raid scsi external drive...with a capacity of 265gb of storage...and the adrenaline box the package of this adrenaline were bought march of 2005...i'll try your hint and let you know....thanks
