is there a release date for this update?

and will it work with Tiger?

3.0.5 Will be Leopard only.  [EDIT] Scratch that. I was wrong. Looks like it will be compaitble with Tiger.

As far as the plugs, if they work in 3.0, they'll work in 3.0.5

 If they work in Avid MC 2.8 will they work in 3.0 and 3.05?

Depending on what they are, the should...yes

Not all AVX plugs are created equal.

I've heard some neat things about 3.0.5.  Looking forward to it.  Please drop a post in the MC forums when it's released.

3.0.5 looks good so far. Tiger and Leopard in the same install and a trim 745MB download! Looks like many bugs are fixed. More to come.

Up and running 3.0.5, i´m playing around for nearly four hours with it now

even with Tiger it works like a charm.
