    The Cheat Sheet

Remember the big fold-out sheet that used to get shipped with every Media Composer system?  For some reason, Avid stopped doing it which was a shame because it was really, really useful.

    Well, don't despair!

I have made a new version for your reading pleasure which you can download from

    http://www.darksunmedia.com.au/ambertech/index.html

Actually, there are some other handy "thinggmies" which you can download from here too

I hope you find it useful

    Cheers!

    Re: The Cheat Sheet

     Hi Carl,

My apologies for the trouble accesing the file.  I just discovered the same problem.  You can work around it if you type the address directly into the address bar of IE. (but of course that is not ideal)

    So...

I have also attached it to this message so hopefully this will get it to you

    Cheers...

    Re: The Cheat Sheet

    Hi Dave,

Very nicely done!  The only thing I'd add is the bit about which lassoing technique with which modifier key gets you into what trim mode.  I know that was on a cheat sheet Avid put out in the late 90's, but I haven't seen it in a long time.

    Thanks again for posting this!

    adios,
    Carl

Howdy Dave.  Yeah, it's been  along time.  I'm still ACSR/ACI, and working in Hollywood.  I've also been to Africa twice in 5 years setting up Avid systems for a missionary group in Zambia.
