I have a Nitris DX.
The HD SDI A (LED) flashes green/amber regardless to what HD project type I am in 1080i or 720p.
According to the install disk this means "Green/Amber: HD-SDI input A selected, input missing or incorrect format."
To date, I have not been able to successfully output an HD project with the Nitris DX (SD projects are OK).
Do I have a warranty issue or is it somthing else?
Thanks for the help.
So my new wife asks me about my "Avid Forever" tattoo... I told her she's an old girlfriend who was always coming up with new things for me to try...
What deck are you outputting your HD and SD signals to?
HD: Sony HDW-2000 and Panasonic AJ-HD1400
SD: Sony DVW-500
Thanks for your thoughts.

Why would the INPUT problem keep you from OUTPUTTING?
Are you able to digitize from your HD deck via HD-SDI ok?
What kind of problems do you have when "outputting"? it won't digitial cut?
what resolution are you at?
vvp-
Have you bounced this issue off of your reseller? Issues like this are one of the main reasons you buy through a reseller...one phone call and they can usually fix the problem for free, or offer a reduced price for further support.
I think my memory sucks, but I forget.
Yes I have. :(
They don't have a demo system set up to recreate the problem and are suggesting that I call Avid as they can't help with this. Am I PO'ed? ... yup! Anyway, a call to Avid is in the works, I have to find a slot in the day where I won't be interrupted 50 times while I do it...
Not sure if this is related but when we first had or DX installed, the video outputs sync needed to be sent to reference I believe. If it wasn't we could only out put scrambled video and the channel condition would light up. On that note does anything go to tape or do you just get the error indicator? I'm not at work right now but I will check the exact name of that setting later.
I can crash record HD out but I can't digital cut HD, thats when I get the error message. I have a deck coming Monday to try it all again... sigh...
