Capture tool - duration display possible?

I'm used to a continuously-updated duration display during capture with the NLE I've used for a long time.  This isn't in MC's capture tool and I really miss it.  I like to be able to glance at the monitor and see how long an open-ended capture has been running.  I hardly ever specify in, out or duration for capture and simply manually start and stop as desired.

Is it possible to have a display of the current capture duration while capturing?

not that I know of. Mental math usually gives me an approximate running time.

Thanks for the continued dongle support

Thanks.  Hopefully there is a way to get that display and someone will come along and describe it for us.  I'm surprised that it seems to be impossible.

I go for the mental math too but a duration display seems to be more ergonomic, maybe You should be posting this to the feature request forum.

Switch display of your player to CTL mode and reset it when you start capturing.

Re: Capture tool - duration display possible?

There is no player.  I want/need MC to show the capture duration.

When I'm sure this feature doesn't already exist, I will ask for it in the Fetaure Request forum as Luca suggested.  I don't want to ask for something that's already there.
