just today before i started working...i encountered this message while capturing video clips...ang while assembling and rendering..."MCSettingsMsgr:WriteCoreSettings:failure writing setting group" what does this mean...
Hmmm.
MCSettingsMsgr. Makes me think about the settings for Media Composer. I would try trashing the MCState, Site Settings, and Site Attributes. Also, perhaps the project settings...or at least try a new project, drag over the bin/bins in question (bins only) and try again.
Does the problem persist?

gud day...i have created a new project today still i get the same message box "MCSettingsMsgr: WriteCoreSettings: failure writing setting group...when raising the error...message box "unable to write shared user setting file make sure directory exist and is accessible"...
does it have something to do with my user setting?
Hammer gave you good advice. You need to delete and rebuild the site settings files. In the settings folder inside your Avid Media Composer or Avid XPRO folder, delete the following files: MC State, SIte_Settings, Site_Attributes. On re-launch the system will detect the missing files and build new ones. It's very likely from the error message that those files have become corrupted.

Two Questions:
1. Are you working on shared storage; Unity or ISIS?
2. Did you import your user settings from a workspace or network volume?
