    Doesn't Hebrew contain non-ansi chars? Well, this should be tested then for other languages.

    Maybe codepage (in/out) can be one of the parameters in the SW4 script? That would be the easiest way and all would then be automatic.

     I guess hebrew is ansi becuase it is working for me.

    I just got a reply from Aldo Lacavalla, the programer of SW4.

    With his answer for the line break (that I have found my self this morning:-) he wrote to me he is planning to add full AVID TXT support as an internal part of the program.
