    transfer keyboard settings

I can't believe I'm asking this, but I've never had a reason to do this before.

How does one transfer ONLY the keyboard settings from one Avid system to another? I tried copying the user settings file & pasting it in the correct sub directory on the other system before running Avid & the keyboard settings works, but everything else related to that settings file transfers as well (windows, etc.).

I know I'm missing a step. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Re: transfer keyboard settings

Just take the Source user settings over to the destination system, Open the software, click the settings tab and choose OPEN SETTINGS FILE. Navigate to the source settings file and open it. Now drag the keyboard settings from that window onto the destination system's settings window. You will be asked if you want to add or replace the setings there. Your choice.

When you are done, make sure there's a check mark next to the keyboard setting you want to use and you're done.
