    Video doesn´t run

    I´m using an Avid Media Composer v 2.5.3 i have an Nvidia Fx 360M video card in my Dell Inspiron M4300.

    i can capure video but it doesn´t play, (i can only hear the sound and it does play but the image remains still). I´ve tried downloading older drivers for my video card, i have also downgraded my windows from Service pack 3 to 2. and still got the same problem. any ideas ?

    Hi,

    According to the Media Composer version matrix you should have Quicktime 7.1 and driver version 84.26 installed.  Check that first.

    If that doesn't fix it, take a look at this post, which has a couple of different links to nVidia card setup troubleshooting.
