washed out image on avid liquid 7.2

I am working on an imac boot camp set on windows xp on avid liquid 7.2.
the thing is the footage was recorded with perfect exposure, etc. but what it is somehow washed out in the editing process. especially when i use text or any graphic above it. i tried color correction but when the rendering process finishes it is washed out again.

if i export to DVD and see it in a regular dvd tv set it is washed out too.

so it is not just a preview problem.

the black levels are different in the footage and the graphics

i have worked with liquid in other computers and havent had this problem.

i am gettin quite sick of this, cause i have deadlines and i need to work this out without having to nuy another computer.

    can anybody help me?

    thanx in advance

    nico

I was going to suggest that you repost this over on the Pinnacle website, as that's where Liquid support is provided.  However, when trying to access their forums, all I get is ...
