I am currently doing a job shot on DVCPro HD 720p 59.94.  We are cutting in the native format, but need to send a center cut downconvert to our monitors.  When I select the downconvert option, all I get on the monitors is the avid adrenaline splash screen.  When I monitor from the HD outputs of the card, everything works perfectly (both HD SDI and HD component outputs).  I have tried hooking the monitors up from the SD SDI, SD Component and even composite, and all i get is that splash screen.  Any thoughts?

I would try resitting your DNxCel board. Hopefully, it is not faulty.

Thanks Dom.  I tried re-seating the card, with no luck.  I'm thinking its not faulty due to the fact that I was able to load HD SDI, and I can monitor in HD without any issues.  I am going to try a different room and see if it works in there.  Is there any reason why it wouldnt downconvert due to the format?  In the Avid help, it says that the card is capable of downconverting 720p/59.94, and several months ago, I was able to do it using same format coming in from P2.  Weird.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I am getting  ADM_DIO_ERROR_OCCURRED in my record window and then I crash.  This has happened about 10 times today.  Something's screwy

Okay, I swapped Adrenaline BOBs and now my downconvert is working perfectly, but I am still getting that ADM_DIO_ERROR_OCCURRED about every 20-30 mins.  It seems to only happen when I am working in HD.  Anyone know about this error?  I wasn't sure if I should start a new thread or not

To downconvert DVCPRO HD with an Adrenaline you really need to transcode. Only DNXHD media works right.

Thanks Brainburst.  We actually loaded it as DNXHD 145.  It seems like our HD card is bad, cause it's working great with another card.

When you said  "We are cutting in the native format" I thought you meant native  DVCPro HD. Hope you had assurance for that board!

Sorry, I meant we are in a 720p 59.94 project, as opposed to downconverting with the deck.  We are checking it now.  I can just see my boss' face when I tell him.
