    will media composer ever work with windows xp 64bit

     Hi. I bought a new computer 3 weeks ago and was old to inves in windows xp 64 it, since the 32 bit version wouldnt take advantage of my 8 gb memory.

    Should I buy vista 64 bit or just downgrade to xp 32 bit?

    ( I couldnt find any realted topics newer than 2007,)

    Win XP has been EOL by Microsoft.  Avid now supports Win XP Pro 32, and Vista Business 32 and 64.  If you want 64-bit, you need Vista Biz.  BTW, it's only $140 at www.TigerDirect.com.

    Hi Kim,

    While I don't have any inside information on what is being worked on, I'd assume that there isn't a lot of work going on with regard to Windows XP, seeing as it's EOL.
