I know Squeeze 4.x will work. Version 5 might require newer version of QT but that may cause problems with your Avid.

Thanks again fellas.
Sorry I could not be of help because I honestly don't remember. There are so many versions of OS X, QT, Squeeze, Avid, etc to keep track.
If it a free trial I would just try it. You can always uninstall it (unlike QT Player... which you cant uninstall).
If there's not a chance that it would effect performance with my Avid, I might give it a try.
Don't worry - love the movie.

Agree with Dom... give it a shot. Go with the latest free trial of Sorenson which apparently is compatible with the latest QT versions. Then try importing into your Avid...it will either come in or not, I believe. If not...then revert back. Also agree with Dom about checking out various compatibilities of various software updates, etc., there can be a "multiplier effect" of possible scenarios....so the proof is in the pudding so to speak... I may be wrong (and I'm sure somebody will jump in and correct me if I am), but I believe Avid should import most any quicktime and compatibility has more to do with exporting to Quicktime, fwiw.
