    QT Exported Files

Anytime I export as a quicktime file I get a choppy piece of crap. This doesnt happen when I export to avi files. On the whole I tend to think that QT files look a little better. My QT is compatible with my version of MC. Any clues on this, thanks.

Depends on codec, but I'd suspect it's the datarate. I find it generally impossible to play high-bitrate QT files in Quicktime Player, including DNxHD, 1:1 and ProRes 422 (and especially any uncompressed formats). I don't know why QT Player's performance is poor given the clear ability of other apps to manage with the same data rates.

yeah...if you feed your compressor too high a datarate, you'll end up with jittery playback

Quicktime player is just an awefull player.. besides that sometimes exports are made to the desktop or some other location where the drive is just not able to keep up. Try VLC player and open it with that you will see a difference ...
