    audio tool

i have mc adrenaline 2.1.6, hp wx8200, and today the audio tool is not responce.

i cannot change the audio layers gain now. i have marks on layers 1-2 but they dont move the levels. at channels 3-4 i dont have the marks.  i check all the setting and compare it to similar room that work fine- and the setting are correct.

    the audio suite works good.

the computer was format two weeks ago -and work fine till now.

does anyone have idea what to do?

    Hi,

Look at the Timeline fast menu (the hamburger menu) under Audio Data.  Is there a check mark next to Auto Gain?  If not, put one there and see if that helps.

    good luck,

i did it -doest help me.

on the audio mixer you can see marks only on channels 1-2. channels 3-4 dont have marks at all.

when you change the gain on 1-2 it change on the metters- but after you move the mouse -it back to what it was before - and dont change it for real.

    Hi,

    carmel adi:
on the audio mixer you can see marks only on channels 1-2. channels 3-4 dont have marks at all.

Are the audio monitors turned on for tracks 3 and 4 in the timeline?  (The little speaker icons next to the A3 and A4 buttons; are they on?)

    good luck,
    Carl

i built new project, new user, new seq 4 audio channels with -20db tone.

when i stand on ch3-4 at the problematic computer- you can not see the marks at the audio mixer.

when you stand on the same place at the other computer you can see them and change the level.

all the settings are the same at both computers.

    Re: audio tool

But you haven't answered Carl's question. On the problem computer, are the speaker monitor icons turned on for the tracks in question? If they are not, you will have no active adjusters for those channels on the mixer tool. Those speaker icons must be on.

Yes, the speaker icons must be visible, and the track CANNOT be locked. (pad lock icon to the left of the speaker icon)  I don't know how often I tried to adjust audio levels only to find out that teh track was locked.

To lock/unlock a track, highlight the audio/video track in the timeline.  Got to the "Clip" pull down menu, at the bottom are lock/unlock.

    Re: audio tool

I am not sure what you mean with marks? The wave form? (turn on sample plot in audio data, and if necessary put an IO point in the timeline depending on your timeline settings - maked wave form)
also turn on clip gain and not only auto gain in audio data

or can you not see enabled sliders in the mixe? ... if so turn on the tracks  by clicking on A3 and A4
