    DV Stream Export Problem

    Hello,

I've been exporting into DV Stream files but today there seem to be an image degradation to the clips. It looks like a bad compressed image. I'm exporting several clips to be archived on our server.

What would be a possible cause of this? I'm now forced to go Quicktime as alternate.

Is it just my video player app?...monitor?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    CURRENT SETTING:

DV Stream, RGB, Even (field order)

    FORMAT: DV, NTSC, Interlaced, 4:3

    Thank you.

    Re: DV Stream Export Problem

    Hi,

If it was working fine and now it's not, what changed?  Any automatic updates to anything (drivers, Quicktime)?  Anything different about these clips?  Different format?  Different camera?  Is your timeline set to show the highest quality?

    good luck,
    Carl

    Re: DV Stream Export Problem

    Thank you Carl.

Apparently, my Quicktime player was not set for hi quiality playback.

    Now it's showing it right.

    Thanks.
