I need to get this figured out once an for all:
I have a series of hi-rez (300dpi) images that were modified in photoshop and output back into high-res JPGs.
Evertime I import images into Avid (and even now in MC3.0), my colors are off. I understand the differences in pixel shapes and aspect ratio, so that isn't a problem.
When I import images into MC3.0 today, my black levels are higher; the images have a slight greenish hue. That being said, I know my monitor isn't calibrated to my avid system, but there are noticable differences between the image as soon through Avid, compared to that same image seen through ACDC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, any tips on software that will help me calibrate my HD monitor to MC3.0 would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jimmy Hayes.
Make sure that they are RGB in photoshop and RGB when you import them into Avid.
