Hello this is my first post. I am a college student and I recently purchased a copy of media composer academic and will be graduating soon. So is there an upgrade option to upgrade from media composer acamedic to a comercial license and if there is how much does it cost and how would I go about purchasing it after I graduate?

In the past Avid have offered upgrade incentives for academic users.  I don't know whether they currently have such a program running, but if they do they usually announce it about now.  At the top right of this page there is a "contact us" link, which takes you to page of links to various information sources.  That might help you.

my avid reseller contacted avid about this months ago and was told that something is supposed to be setup for this upgrade this fall, not sure exactly when but he did say that there would be something offered this fall
