Hi, i'm shooting a project on a sony xdcam ex. everything shot so far is in 23.97. it looks great, but i need to shoot some plasma monitors. they will be playing back SD footage blown up to fit the screen. the problem is, we keep getting scan lines.
do i have to shoot at 30fps instead? if so, can i convert 1080i to 24p? do i have this all wrong and it's a different button on the camera (forgive me, i don't shoot much)?
any help would be appreciated. i'm under a tight deadline and cannot start over.
thanks
You need to adjust the clearscan (shutter speed) of the camera and not the frame rate. Unfortunately, I don't know the first thing about the EX1 but a quick check in the manual should steer you in the right direction. Best of luck!
yep. that was much easier than mixing 24p and 1080i. went through the manual and figured out how to switch the shutter speed. pretty easy. thanks!
