Exporting Video as .mov with Alpha Channel

    Hello all,

I created an animated lower thirds using Marquee tool Text and some stills. How do I export this video so another editor can use it as lower third for thier video.

I tried exporting it with Animation as the Compression type but when I Import the video it has a solid background.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You cannot export video with an alpha channel.  Sorry I don't have better news.

Explore some of Marquees save as options.  Sequential tiff graphics with a Matte key option checked?

Carl that's bad news. I might have to get somebody to do this in After Effects but I'll try Adrew's tip...

Andrew's tip will work.  I've done it and used the Marquee tiff sequence inside AE.  Some time back though, but I don't remember any problems.
